OSC SNOW UPDATE - SUNDAY

The access road into our community has been plowed up to the area in front of the Community Center.
​But, PLEASE ... If you don't have 4-wheel drive, DO NOT plan to come down until a significant amount of the snow has melted. You will get stuck! There are some roads that are impassable due to 3-4 foot drifts. The temperatures are supposed to be in the upper 40's at OSC this week with rain forecasted for Thursday/Friday which may help. But freezing temperatures for next weekend may result in icy roads within the Community. Please be sure to check the forecast before heading down to spend the weekend or check your home.

WINTER STORM THIS WEEKEND

Dear Homeowners ... The various weather services are reporting a significant winter storm for Saturday with the highest snow accumulations along the shore.  While we will ensure that the access road into our community is plowed (especially if there is 6 inches or more of snow), we cannot guarantee when that will happen.  We do not have a prepaid snow removal contract for the winter.  Instead, we get plowed on-demand.  As a result, our property will get plowed after the contract customers.  

Also note ... we do not plow any of the stoned side roads in our community.  Only the asphalt access road is plowed up to the bathhouse.  

If you had plans to visit OSC this weekend to check your property, we are strongly suggesting that you change your plans and come down another time.
