​REMINDER – NO BULK ITEMS IN OSC DUMPSTERS

Dear Homeowners – With the start of Spring cleaning, we just wanted to send a quick reminder that bulk trash should not be placed in our dumpsters.  Large items, bulk trash, construction debris, appliances, mattresses, furniture, etc. need to be taken to the Cape May County Municipal Utilities Authority Transfer Station on Shunpike just a few miles from OSC.  The facility is open weekdays as well as Saturday mornings.  There is a nominal fee for disposal.  Please check their website (cmcmua.com) for exact hours as they vary based on the time of year. 
 
We recently saw a microwave oven and what appears to be a foam mattress wrapped in black plastic in our dumpsters.  
 
Bulk items increase our costs (which are already high) for trash pickup … as a single on-demand pickup costs as much as a month of weekly pickups!
 
Please help us contain our costs by doing your part.
