POOL OPENING DELAYED

Dear Homeowners,

We are sorry to report that the pool will not be open for the Memorial Day weekend.

While the pool water passed its tests, we failed our electrical inspection as the ground fault breakers were not tripping or were very difficult to trip when tested.  In fact, all 5 need to be replaced.  

The Township's electrical inspector was supposed to be in last Friday, May 15th, but got hung up at another inspection and rescheduled us for this past Tuesday, May 19th.  

The inspector is requiring us to have a licensed electrician replace the GFI breakers.  Despite a very busy pre-holiday week, we were able to get an electrician on site later in the day on Tuesday, but the breakers had to be ordered.  The parts were received today and the electrician is squeezing us into his schedule tomorrow (Friday).  Since we are a last minute add-on to the schedule, the company cannot guarantee an arrival time.  If the electrician replaces the breakers early enough in the day, we will make every attempt to get the inspector back in on Friday to check the breakers/review our paperwork.  (Keep your fingers crossed!)  Otherwise, we are on the inspection schedule for Tuesday, May 26th.

We apologize for the inconvenience.  The original inspection schedule would have given us time to make any needed repairs.

The Log Cabin will be open all day both Saturday, Sunday, and Monday should you want to gather with friends there in lieu of the tables and chairs at the pool.
