Dear OSC Owners,
The Bylaws Committee of OSC met on Sunday, August 27 to discuss preliminary goals and strategic plans as we begin to move forward on the process to amend some of our current bylaws. We will be meeting beginning Sunday, October 2 at 10:30am and through the winter months, mostly bi-monthly, to go over all of the existing Bylaws to see which ones need to be changed, deleted, or added to. The October meeting(s) will be held at the Log Cabin, then switch to Zoom over the off months. There is a need for additional members for this committee and we have 4 to 5 spots to fill. If you are interested, please let us know via the Board email ([email protected]). The responsibilities of each committee member will be as follows: 1. You must be a homeowner in good standing for at least three years. 2. Be willing and able to attend the majority of the meetings scheduled whether in person or by zoom. 3. Be willing to thoroughly read the existing Bylaws and the Master Deed of OSC and be privy to its contents. 4. Be willing to take on any research assignment given that will help expedite the process. As many homeowners know, this is something that we have been trying to do for many, many years and now with the Radburn law of 2017, we can now begin the process of changing some of our outdated Bylaws so that they can bring our community into the 21st century. If you would like to be part of OCS history, we welcome you to join the committee. Please let us know ASAP. OSC Bylaws Committee Comments are closed.
