MALFUNCTIONING STREET LIGHT ON MAIN STREET

Dear Homeowners ...

We've had a malfunctioning street light at the corner of Main and Pine for some time now.  The Board was alerted and Atlantic City Electric was contacted at the beginning of July to open a service ticket to repair the light.

Unfortunately, Atlantic City Electric has been closing out the service tickets without completing the repair or providing a timeline for the repair.  The Board has contacted Customer Service a number of times and opened additional service tickets only to have them closed out once again.  A 5th ticket was opened on August 28th and is still active as evidenced by the Street Light Outage map on the AC Electric app.  (See pictures below.)  A Board member is monitoring the status of this street light via that map on a daily basis.  Also note, per Customer Service, the typical timeline for a street light repair/outage is 30-60 days as it is not considered an emergency repair.  The Board has expressed their concern and dissatisfaction with this timeline to Atlantic City Electric considering that the original outage report was made at the beginning of July.
