It’s that time of year again … LEAF CLEANUP. Leaves can be blown or raked to the “curb” or placed in paper leaf bags for pickup. (No plastic, please.) Please note: If your leaves contain too many stones (or shells or branches), maintenance will leave a note and you will need to bag your leaves. The stones can easily shred the inside of the hose on the leaf vacuum. Check out the attached pictures. The hose alone costs over $350 to replace. If you need additional time to clear your leaves, please let us know. But, bear in mind that you will need to bag your leaves after May 6th. (Paper bags only please.) If your leaves have not been cleared and you have not reached out to the Board, someone will be assigned to clear your lot and you will be charged accordingly. PS -- If we continue to get significant rain on weekdays and we get behind on clearing the leaves, we may be utilizing the leaf vacuum and leaf blowers on weekends.
