A special THANK YOU to Jessica, Anthony, and all the volunteers who helped make "Fly Me to the Moon ... a Sinatra night with Bob O" a great success. As you can tell from the pictures, everyone had a wonderful time listening to the tunes, enjoying dinner and dessert, and, of course, enjoying great company with friends and neighbors! A special "Thank You" to Terri Ellis for scheduling a trainer to teach Adult and Infant CPR and AED use to members of our community. Additionally the instructor explained how to deal with choking in adults as well as infants. A number of our homeowners practiced their CPR techniques on the manikin and received their 2-year certification. Thanks for making our community a little safer! NOTE: Our community's AED (Automated External Defibrillator) is located in the Bathhouse breezeway next to the Laundry Room door. Please don't be afraid to use it in an emergency. The machine will walk you through the steps! Be sure to have someone call 911! We only have a few pictures to share ... but we did have a lot of help getting all the chairs and lounges out on the pool, clearing the branches from the 900 block, and getting flowers planted around the grounds! Look at all those happy painters from Saturday's Paint & Sip Event!  A GREAT BIG SHOUT OUT to our new OSC Events Committee Chair, Jessica Forlenza, her husband, Anthony, and the other volunteers who helped with the two wonderful events over the weekend -- celebrating the 4th with Axe Throwing, games for the kids, food, and music and Kids Breakfast Bingo on Sunday. Everyone who attended had nothing but good things to say ... kids and adults alike!
And a special Thank You to Susan Zitter for getting folks moving with Zumba on Saturday morning. Event pictures are coming! If anyone has pictures they'd like us to post, please send them to [email protected] Mulch was spread, bathhouse area raked, bushes trimmed, fence railings removed, low tree branches cut, and flowers planted! THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP! 👏👏👏 Sending a special "Thank You" to Tom Lang, Bill Burke, Otto Munz, and Tom Peters for giving up a day last weekend to change the brakes on OSC's white work truck and get us ready for the new season. WE TRULY APPRECIATE YOUR HELP!  A very special "Thank You" to the Melissa and Pete Carfagno and their family and friends for an entertaining Halloween event. From Trick-or-Treating around the pool, to the hayrides and scary characters roaming the grounds, the hot dogs, and music, it was a wonderful evening! Special thanks to our "grim reaper" tractor driver, Otto, and to Otto and Mike for decorating the tractor! And we can't forget the volunteers who picked up the hay, cooked the hot dogs, and supplied the music! Everyone made the evening a great success for all the children and grandchildren here at OSC this past Saturday! 👻🎃👀 Here are a few pictures from the evening ... |
