A special "Thank You" to Terri Ellis for scheduling a trainer to teach Adult and Infant CPR and AED use to members of our community. Additionally the instructor explained how to deal with choking in adults as well as infants. A number of our homeowners practiced their CPR techniques on the manikin and received their 2-year certification. Thanks for making our community a little safer! NOTE: Our community's AED (Automated External Defibrillator) is located in the Bathhouse breezeway next to the Laundry Room door. Please don't be afraid to use it in an emergency. The machine will walk you through the steps! Be sure to have someone call 911! Zumba with Susan ... Saturday, August 12 at the Log Cabin Post time is 6:43pm for this event at “OSC Downs”. Bring your $$$ and bet on your favorite horse! Be sure to wear your best “derby hat”! Can/bottle cozies with the "Derby Logo" shown below will also be available for purchase.  Hi, Everyone ... Several homeowners signed up for our Beautification Committee at "Coffee with the Board" to plant flowers in the pots between the Log Cabin and the pool. But a few more helping hands wouldn't hurt.
We were able to get out between the rain drops today to purchase flowers and potting soil. So ... we'll be meeting around 10:00am in front of the Log Cabin to start planting them. Bring gardening gloves and a small shovel or trowel if you have them. Thanks! The group trimmed trees, cleaned up the bushes and rocks around the pool, cleaned our street signs and posts, picked up branches around the baseball field and playground, dug a BIG ditch across Ash for a new camera line, placed the conduit, and threaded the wire. After a pizza lunch, a small group moved to the Boat Yard to replant two arborvitae and fertilize all the existing plants! And .. special thanks to Tom, Tom, and Kathie who returned on Sunday to move one of the light poles in the Boat Yard to a new location and install a new light! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU ... from the Board and Mike ... for getting so much accomplished and helping Old Stagecoach stay in tiptop shape!
