Mark your calendars for another activity this holiday weekend sponsored by the OSC Events Committee.  After our Spring Information Meeting, we’ll have a Volunteer Workday in the afternoon! Join your OSC neighbors for a Philadelphia "Game Day" and a potluck dinner in the Log Cabin on Sunday. -- Phillies vs. Marlins at 1:05pm -- Eagles vs. Patriots at 4:25pm Bring over your "potluck" food items beginning at 3:00pm. We'll have hot dogs available. Hope to see you there! NOTE: While there is a Smart TV with apps installed in the Log Cabin, someone will need to log into their app account to access the games for everyone to enjoy. Just remember to log out of your account when the games are over.
Saturday, August 12 at the Log Cabin Post time is 6:43pm for this event at “OSC Downs”. Bring your $$$ and bet on your favorite horse! Be sure to wear your best “derby hat”! Can/bottle cozies with the "Derby Logo" shown below will also be available for purchase.  Hi, Everyone ... Several homeowners signed up for our Beautification Committee at "Coffee with the Board" to plant flowers in the pots between the Log Cabin and the pool. But a few more helping hands wouldn't hurt.
We were able to get out between the rain drops today to purchase flowers and potting soil. So ... we'll be meeting around 10:00am in front of the Log Cabin to start planting them. Bring gardening gloves and a small shovel or trowel if you have them. Thanks! The group trimmed trees, cleaned up the bushes and rocks around the pool, cleaned our street signs and posts, picked up branches around the baseball field and playground, dug a BIG ditch across Ash for a new camera line, placed the conduit, and threaded the wire. After a pizza lunch, a small group moved to the Boat Yard to replant two arborvitae and fertilize all the existing plants! And .. special thanks to Tom, Tom, and Kathie who returned on Sunday to move one of the light poles in the Boat Yard to a new location and install a new light! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU ... from the Board and Mike ... for getting so much accomplished and helping Old Stagecoach stay in tiptop shape! SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8 10:00AM – 2:30PM Since our Spring Work Detail was such a success, we'd like your help to complete some tasks at Old Stagecoach to get us ready to close for the winter. More info to follow ... Sorry to report that the Adult Putt Putt Crawl originally scheduled for Saturday, September 10th has been cancelled. We're looking forward to seeing the event back on the OSC calendar for next season.  A Very Special "Thank You" to Ron Fisher and all the volunteers who put together a fun Day (and Night) at the Races! And what a lovely tribute to our friend and neighbor, Bobby McGee!
