​CARPET and FLOORING in RECYCLING BINS??

Dear Homeowners -- At 9:00am yesterday (Thursday, March 31) morning, we had 2 contractors from SH Builders dump a great deal of carpeting and flooring plus the packaging materials and a large black trash bag into our Recycling Dumpsters completely filling them.  They have been contacted and have since removed the materials.  In the process, we discovered that the materials they dumped weren't even from a job they were working on at Old Stagecoach, but were from a job outside our community!

Contractors should not be placing ANY materials associated with the work they are doing in either our trash or recycling dumpsters.  They should be removing it from your property and disposing of it themselves.  Their disposal costs should have been built into the cost of your project.

Please note that you, as the homeowner, are responsible for the contractors working on your property and their actions in our community.  If they dispose of bulk items or construction materials in our dumpsters, you, the homeowner, will be fined.  As you can see, our trash and recycling area is under 24 hr video surveillance.
