Neighbors:
Water Resources was on-site this morning to finalize the work of correcting the discolored water issues we had over the weekend. In the process of doing so, they had to backflush some of our treatment tanks. This may result in some light brown discoloration of your water. While this is not dangerous, it is unappealing. If you experience discolored water, just let the water run for a few minutes and it should clear up. If you have a bathroom tub faucet, this would be the best one to open as it is high volume and has no aerator. Please note; If you've already left for home, you may see this discoloration when you first turn your water on when you come back. Just let your water run for a few minutes and it should clear up. Thank you, Your OSC Board - Last day for the pool will be Sunday 9/13
- Trash going forward will be picked up on Mondays only. Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Just a friendly reminder that our trash collection services are for household trash and recyclables. We recently had to spend over $1500 to dispose of bulk items left at the dumpsters including indoor/outdoor furniture, broken picnic tables, lumber from what appeared to be part of an old deck, and construction debris. The board is focused on cost containment and minimizing any fee increases, but we cannot be successful without your help. Please arrange to either bring your bulk disposals to the CMCMUA or bring them home with you to dispose of. If it is furniture that is in reasonable condition, please consider donating it to Habitat for Humanity. They will even pick it up on site for free. Leaving these items at our dumpsters will cost all of us money. Larger recyclable metal items may be left next to the metal shed behind the Maintenance Building. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter! OSC Board Labor Day is right around the corner.
