Steve Easterday, our neighbor on Willow, will be playing some music 🎵 for us in front of the Log Cabin TONIGHT, Saturday, June 24th at 7:00pm. We'll be inside the Cabin if it's raining! Come on out and enjoy the evening with your family, friends, and neighbors.  Voting has slowed down significantly ... and we really need your help to make Lot 502 a Common Element in our Master Deed. We are a little over 40 votes shy of meeting our quorum of 51%. That means that only 30% of our homeowners have voted so far!! We've tried to make voting as simple as possible. If you don't have your ballot handy or don't want to drive to the Post Office to drop it off ... there are extra ballots in the clear plastic "mail" bin located in the Laundry Room and some envelopes. Just drop your completed ballot in the black mailbox on the wall outside the Laundry Room! Need a refresher on what you're voting on ... the letter we mailed to everyone in May is attached below along with a copy of the ballot. Thanks in advance for your help. 
Dear Old Stagecoach Homeowners: Per our current Bylaws, all five (5) members of the Board of Trustees shall be elected at each annual meeting. In other words, the current term is 1 year. As a result, we are required to call for nominations to the Board each year, including nomination forms from current members of the Board of Trustees who wish to continue in their role. That being said, your current slate of Board members is interested in continuing for another term, if you’ll have us.
*Our existing Bylaws do not outline the role of an “alternate” or how many there can be. If you are interested in having your name on the election ballot to serve as a member of the Board of Trustees along with the names above … or if you wish to fill an additional Alternate slot, please take time to fill out the attached nomination form. If you are interested in finding out about the Board and how OSC operates but you’re not ready to take on the role of a full Board member, you may want to consider joining our meetings as an Alternate. There’s nothing that says we can’t have more than two. As an Alternate, you cannot vote on issues, but you can participate in discussions and provide your opinion as you ready yourself to step into the role of a full Board member if that’s your goal. Please note that as a Board, we meet every 2 to 3 weeks in the evening for 1 1/2 to 2 hours via a Zoom call. We keep each other abreast of the issues/activities at OSC and decide on next steps to solve a problem or take action on a project. Outside the meetings, various members of our team take on projects, handle emergencies, reach out to homeowners with questions, and work with PMC or our lawyer on Association matters and issues just to name a few. In the fall, we begin the budgeting process and develop a project plan for the upcoming year. And there are days when your time at OSC isn’t yours, but the Association’s as you deal with issues or projects. For our Saturday evening entertainment, THANK YOU Tina and Tom for bringing DJ Tommy T out to OSC. The music was great!   Hi, Everyone ... Several homeowners signed up for our Beautification Committee at "Coffee with the Board" to plant flowers in the pots between the Log Cabin and the pool. But a few more helping hands wouldn't hurt.
We were able to get out between the rain drops today to purchase flowers and potting soil. So ... we'll be meeting around 10:00am in front of the Log Cabin to start planting them. Bring gardening gloves and a small shovel or trowel if you have them. Thanks! Dear Homeowners -- The Fire Marshall has lifted the ban on campfires in our community. They are permitted! The sign will be coming down today, Thursday, June 15th.
Thanks! Bring your family and friends and join us this Saturday outside the Log Cabin for some good music and maybe some dancing!
The music starts around 4:00pm. DJ Tommy T from Cruising 92.1 and Famous 56 Boss Radio will be broadcasting “Live from OSC” from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. And the music will continue into the night. BYOB and BYO snacks ... We could also use your help setting up tables and chairs in the afternoon. See you there ... Hi, Everyone ... For those of you not familiar with where we post the "No Campfires" sign when directed by the Fire Marshall, it's on the tree next to the OSC sign at the entrance to our community. Hopefully we'll get some rain soon ... but as of today, Monday, June 12th, there is still a ban on campfires. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.  |
