Dear Homeowners ... We think it's wonderful that everyone is recycling. However, we need your help and cooperation when it comes to cardboard boxes. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE break them down so they lay flat in the dumpsters. As you can see from the picture, our dumpsters are overflowing ... mainly because the cardboard boxes that aren't broken down take up a great deal of space. And it's not the job of our maintenance personnel to "dig in" and break them down to gain more space.
Recycling is only picked up once per week during the season and that is covered by the property taxes you pay. If we need to request additional pickups, the Association bears the cost. Please help us keep costs down by taking a few minutes to break down your cardboard boxes. Thanks in advance for your cooperation. Dear Homeowners ... We will be closing the entire bathhouse (Men's Room, Ladies' Room, and Laundry Room) Thursday morning, June 1st to scope and clean out the sewer lines. (We had a drain back up in the Ladies' Room over the weekend so we want to be proactive and prevent a recurrence.)
Our apologies for any inconvenience. Dear Homeowners -- Due to the Memorial Day holiday today, trash pickup will be on Tuesday instead of Monday this week.
Also we will begin our twice weekly trash pickup schedule this week -- and also pick up on Fridays until Labor Day. Enjoy the rest of your weekend! ... to our OSC families and their guests. As you celebrate the start of the summer season, please take a moment to remember the real reason for the holiday.
We passed our last electrical inspection with Middle Township this morning so at 10:00am, the pool will be open for the season.
Thank you for your patience while we obtained our 5-year bonding inspection and certificate and scheduled the final Township inspection. ENJOY! PS -- We still need volunteers to close the pool in the evening. We're getting ready to open the pool for the season, but we're still in desperate need of volunteers to close the pool around 7:00pm each evening. We only have a few homeowners who have stepped up.
On weekdays, the volunteer would take any toys out of the pool, check the skimmers for wayward toys or large debris, close the umbrellas, toss out any food wrappers or beverage containers, put any items left on the pool deck into "lost and found", and, most importantly, ensure that all 3 gates are locked for the evening. On weekends, we'd also like you to dip a test strip into the pool water and record the results in the log book. ARE YOU WILLING TO HELP OUT? You can sign up for the same day each week, a single week or weekend, or several of them. Please email the Board at [email protected] Your help would be very much appreciated. After all, this is YOUR community. Dear Homeowners ... The ballots and rationale for incorporating Lot 502 into our Master Deed as a common element have been mailed to everyone. A copy of the documents you'll receive are also posted here. PLEASE TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO VOTE AND TURN IN YOUR BALLOT. The Board recommends you vote "YES" for this amendment as it does benefit the Association. You can return your ballot to PMC by mail, email, fax, or via the mailbox outside the Laundry Room. Just place it in a sealed envelope. Blank ballots and envelopes can be found in the mail bin in the Laundry Room. We do need a minimum of 51% of our homeowners to vote in favor of this amendment for it to pass. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and for voting! PS -- If you don't see the mailbox immediately, please be patient. It will be there this week.
Well, we do have some good news. We passed our bonding inspection. However, our certification paperwork will not be ready until Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.
We'll continue to keep you posted and get the pool open as soon as we can. Thanks in advance for your patience. |
