Dear Homeowners -- We have a 30-yard dumpster arriving soon that we will be using for leaves. Please do not place any household trash or branches in this dumpster. It is strictly for leaves only. If other items are found in the bin when it is dumped, we will be charged a significantly higher rate.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation. The riser on the 300 block has been repaired. However, the water will remain off until Wednesday morning due to the below freezing temperatures forecasted for both Monday and Tuesday nights.
Thank you again for your understanding. This is certainly not the weather we expected for the start of spring! Sorry for the inconvenience but the water will be off for the remainder of the weekend. The broken riser will be replaced on Monday.
Thanks in advance for your understanding. Dear Homeowners -- We had a major water leak on the 300 block. The water is currently off ... and may remain off over the weekend. Maintenance will do a closer assessment in the daylight tomorrow.
We will keep you posted. Thanks again for your understanding and cooperation. Dear Homeowners --- We are happy to report that the water will be on at Old Stagecoach this weekend. HOWEVER, with the below freezing temperatures (20’s overnight) forecasted for both Sunday night and Monday night, the water will be turned off on Sunday evening around 5:00pm. Barring any major leaks, it will be turned on during the day Monday and turned off again on Monday evening around 4:30pm. If there are leaks, the water may go on and off sporadically both Monday and Tuesday and we will not be blowing the horn or posting outages.
We’ll keep you updated if the weather conditions change. Thanks again for your cooperation and understanding. Dear Homeowners ... For the second time in 2 months, we had someone go "off-road" at OSC on Monday evening/night or early Tuesday morning of this past week. They short-cut the corner at Main and Spruce directly across from the bathhouse. In the process, they knocked the heavy metal cover off one of our septic tanks damaging the cement collar holding it in place and most likely damaging their undercarriage. At this time, we don't know if the weight of the vehicle did any damage to the septic tank itself.
Again we are asking that everyone PLEASE be careful driving through the community and ask any visitors or contractors to do the same. Damage to any of our septic tanks can be very costly. We are planning to add additional fencing in both areas to prevent future incidents. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Dear Homeowners -- At last year's annual meeting, several homeowners expressed concerns about the appearance of properties within our community and the lack of enforcement of our bylaws. To ensure that everyone understands the expectations, we are re-publishing a letter that was sent several years ago and re-sending it to all our homeowners. (A copy is also attached to this post for your reference.) If you do have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to the Board at [email protected] Thanks again for your cooperation and helping us maintain our beautiful "home away from home" at the Jersey shore!
Dear Homeowners -- A letter is on its way to all homeowners this week outlining the leaf cleanup guidelines for this year. (A copy is also attached for your reference.) You may blow or rake your leaves to the "curb" or place them in paper leaf bags. We are asking everyone to complete their cleanup by May 2nd this year so that maintenance has ample time to patch and repaint the pool. You may have neighbors who need help with their leaves ... so please reach out and help where you can. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
Dear Homeowners … We have scheduled the vendor that manages our water filtration and treatment system to come in on Tuesday, March 22nd to start the process of turning on our water for the season. If he doesn’t receive any emergency calls over the weekend, he may actually start on Monday. Repairs need to be completed on several of our treatment tanks. Following those repairs, we have water testing scheduled for Wednesday.
Maintenance will be checking for leaks throughout the community for a few days. As a result, the water may be on and off sporadically throughout the day for several days … and we will not be making announcements on Facebook, blowing the horn, or sending text messages during this time. The water will also be turned off at night for those first few days … as there aren’t enough homeowners down to report leaks and some may be difficult to see with all the leaves. We don’t want someone’s trailer or property to be flooded or damaged because we missed a major leak that continued throughout the night. So please be patient with us. We will post on Facebook and our website when the water is officially on for the season and that will be after all checks have been completed and initial leaks have been repaired. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and understanding. Dear Homeowners – There will be no hot water in the Bathhouse this Saturday morning, March 19th, from 9:00am until noon. The plumber who installed the heaters last year will be in to complete a yearly flush of each system. You will be able to use the toilets and sinks, but there will be no hot water during that time. If you’re down for the weekend, please plan accordingly.
Thanks for your cooperation. |
