Do you rent your OSC property? Have you registered with Middle Township?

2/23/2023

Dear Homeowners -- Last summer, Middle Township sent out a notice indicating that anyone renting within the Township needed to register as a "landlord" and obtain a fire inspection. This pertains to short-term and long-term rentals. (Allowing family and friends to use your place at OSC is not considered a rental.)
The original letter is attached for your reference. In addition, there is registration information and costs on the Middle Township website -- https://middletownship.com/middle-residents-can-now-register-online-for-a-short-term-rental-license/

Please be sure to do your due diligence. Since this is the first year for licensing, the Township may be checking by scanning rental listing both online and in print.

If you are renting and need a current copy
of the OSC Rules and Regulations, please email the Board at [email protected]

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Cost of Electricity Could Rise Even More

2/23/2023

We noticed this article in the Cape May County Herald last week and thought we would past the information along to our homeowners.
  • By Vince Conti, The Herald Newspaper, February 14, 2023
Just one week after the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (NJBPU) approved a 4.1% hike in Atlantic City Electric’s (ACE) rates for basic generation service, ACE has announced it is seeking to recover $104.8 million through its delivery rate calculation, which, if approved, will result in an additional 8.8% increase in the transmission cost portion of the energy bill.
