About OUR COMMUNITY

Old Stagecoach Resort was originally a campground until 1988 when it was established as a condominium community.  It is located on a tidal salt marsh called Pennsylvania Ponds fed by Dias Creek and is surrounded by a wildlife refuge.  We are a seasonal community, open from March 1st to November 1st each year.  Water is turned on to all homes in the community around April 1st after the risk of a hard freeze.

There are over 220 independently owned properties within our community.  Most are fully developed with park model mobile homes on their site.  Each homeowner is responsible for the maintenance of their own home and property as well as insurance.  Homeowners pay yearly condo association fees to cover the maintenance of our common elements (pool, playground, bathhouse, clubhouse, common areas, and roads), our community water (well water) and our sewer system (septic) as well as maintenance and administrative salaries, insurance, common area electric, etc.  We do not have city water or sewer.  In addition, each homeowner is responsible for paying property taxes to Middle Township each year.

The Jersey Shore beaches are easily accessed from our community.  The closest beach is in Stone Harbor, but Avalon, the Wildwoods, and Cape May beaches are all within a short drive.  Please note that Stone Harbor, Avalon, and Cape May beaches require residents and visitors to purchase beach tags.

Old Stagecoach is located in the community of Cape May Court House within Middle Township in Cape May County, New Jersey.  Cape May Court House is the county seat of Cape May County and serves as the principal administrative hub for the township.
